Amanda has long been dedicated to offering authentic support, helping individuals develop and achieve their goals. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Family Supports and Community Practice, from Toronto Metropolitan University. She studied child development, tailored teaching practices, family-centred community support, and the foundations of interprofessional practice. Amanda then earned a Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto, where she studied the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. ​

She has had the privilege of developing her clinical skills by providing speech-language pathology services to children and youth at the Alberta Children's Hospital, the York Region District School Board, and through home-based community care, as well as to adults at Toronto Rehab. Amanda has experience evaluating and supporting a wide range of areas, including speech sounds, early language, receptive and expressive language, literacy, social communication, play and engagement, cognitive communication, feeding and swallowing, as well as augmentative and alternative communication. Grounded in collaborative problem-solving, she is committed to improving lives through education, skill development, and clinical understanding.
